Invenca enters business development agreement with Southern Measurement Company

Mauldin S.C. – Invenca LLC, a technology based company in Mauldin, S.C.  announces the signing of a business developement agreement with Southern Measurement Company to co-develop high performance liquid chromatography applications with accounts in the southeastern United States.  Southern Measurement Company has been serving scientists in the southeastern US with specialized analytical equipment since 1985.  Prior to that time SMC’s principal, Mr. Terry Layne practiced liquid chromatography with Ciba-Geigy Corporation and Phillips Petroleum . Invenca LLC is a licensee of the Clemson Research Foundation  with exclusive field of use in chromatography  and was founded in 2007 to develop and  market products for that field.  “ We are pleased to have such a tremendous asset and to have a daily working relationship with Terry Layne” according to Invenca CEO, Mark Housley.  “Terry is well known and highly respected for his technical knowledge and customer responsiveness.
