Invenca Attends Eastern Analytical Symposium (EAS) 2008 in Somerset, NJ

(Greer, SC; November 21, 2008) Invenca, a start-up chemical technology firm based in Greer, SC, recently attended the 47th Eastern Analytical Symposium and Exposition in Somerset, New Jersey.

The Eastern Analytical Symposium and Exposition is an annual event that provides continuing education for professional scientists and students in the analytical and allied sciences through the presentation of papers, workshops, and short courses. An exposition of instruments and supplies related to these sciences is also presented. The EAS 2008 conference theme was "Creating a Better Tomorrow."

Invenca was an exhibitor at this year's event, and took the opportunity to introduce their core product, novel HPLC columns, to industry colleagues. Invenca is currently developing methods for producing highly uniform and reproducible packing of the innovative columns. They are poised to launch the product to market in early 2009.

More than 3,000 people attended the four-day conference, which was held at the Garden State Convention Center and hotel complex from November 17 through November 20.
